The purpose of the center is to provide quality child care with developmentally-appropriate, culturally relevant activities for children of students at Seattle Central while they further their education and for children of staff or faculty while they work on campus.

The center is certified by Washington State to serve children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years and not yet in school. Contact the Childcare center for current childcare rates.

Cosmetology Services

The School of Cosmetology offers a wide range of services at a minimum cost. The full service salon offers many services including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, pedicures, facials and much more.

Students under the supervision of licensed instructors perform all services under safe and sanitary conditions.

Information Center

Students with general questions or who are wishing to find out about events in and around the campus may do so at the Information Center. The center will be able to direct students with specific questions to the proper department. They will answer any questions both in person and by telephone.

The Erickson Theatre

The Erickson Theatre houses the Seattle Central Drama Program where a range of classes and avenues of study are offered yearly. The drama curriculum gives students the opportunity to take a full range of classes through learning communities, as well as an opportunity to gain practical experience in all aspects of the dramatic performing arts.

Seattle Central has tutoring for everyone. Individual appointments are made in a variety of subjects. During the afternoon hours a tutor will devote his or her complete attention to you. The College Wide Tutoring Center is also available for drop-ins during morning hours Monday through Saturday.
