Mission

The Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center provides an environment that offers diverse activities to the campus and the general community to promote healthy lifestyles, wellness and recreational programs.

Goals

  1. Provide an accessible and accommodating environment.
  2. Create innovative and diverse programs that fit the needs of both the campus and the general community.
  3. Increase personal awareness on health education.
  4. Provide resources for educational activities.
  5. Maintain quality services through effective management.
  6. Establish and maintain well-trained personnel and safe equipment.
  7. Promote educational and employment opportunities to enhance life and career skills.
  8. Establish networking channels to create an array of services.

Facilities

The Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center is an 85,000 square foot facility that opened its doors on January 1996. It is located at 1718 Broadway and is directly east of the main building of Seattle Central Community College. More info...
 

Programs

The Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center offers a variety of credit and non-credit classes. When credit classes are in session, members are to vacate the area. Non-Credit Classes are free for members on a walk-in basis. More info...

Sat - Sun (12:00 p.m. - 4:00.p.m.)
