Seattle Central Seeks Nominations for 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award

For the first time in its 40-year history, Seattle Central Community College has established a Distinguished Alumni Award. The award will be given to an alumnus who exemplifies achievement in his or her particular endeavor in life, including academic, business and professional and civic activities.

Eligibility: Seattle Central alumni may be nominated for the Distinguished Alumni Award five years after their attendance at Seattle Central Community College. Only one person may receive this award during a given year. Nominations for this award can be made by any member of the Seattle Central faculty, staff, or general public.

The winner of the 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award will be invited to speak at Seattle Central's 2011 commencement ceremony at Benaroya Hall.
