Seattle Central offers a wide variety of distance learning courses, and many of these courses are eligible for financial aid funding. In fact, the Seattle Community College District is one of 15 postsecondary schools, systems, and consortia selected by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in a demonstration program to enhance access to federal financial aid for distance education students.

Online courses, telecourses, and video courses are eligible for financial aid funding. Seminar and correspondence courses are not eligible. Please refer to the other sections of this website for information about the financial aid application process, application deadlines, and much more.
